Peels for baking: materials
The materials used to make the baking peels are stainless steel and titanium.
The used stainless steel is AISI 304 (also called 18/10), the most common in the food industry. It has excellent qualities of mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and heat resistance, and is therefore very suitable for cooking blades that are exposed to heat for a long time and need resistance to deterioration.
Titanium is a material with good mechanical strength, resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. It is less resistant but much lighter than steel.
Pizza World
Did you know that World Pizza Day exists?
An initiative to spread around the world, starting in Naples, the home of pizza. There, on 17th January, St Anthony Abbot, patron saint of fire and of animals, bakers and pizza makers, is celebrated with propitiatory fires and the expressing of great wishes.
