Food preparation utensils: the materials used

The used materials are stainless steel and polypropylene.

Stainless steel

The used stainless steel is AISI 304, which has excellent qualities of mechanical and corrosion resistance. This guarantees a long-lasting durability of products made from this material.

Tools made of stainless steel are also easily disinfectable and suitable for use in food contact.


The plastic material of the handles is polypropylene (PP) with non-toxic pigments, which is a light but resistant material.

It is resistant to high temperatures, up to 120°C for sterilisation, and to low temperatures, -20°C for blast chillers.
