Baking utensils: technical specifications
The grids are made of a stretched and flattened wire mesh (made of aluminium or stainless steel): this type of netting prevents the dough from penetrating the holes in the mesh.
The grids also feature welded stainless steel edging, which gives the product greater strength and durability.
Some models are equipped with small aluminium feet at the base of the grid, which allow the grid to be spaced out with the supporting surface so that the steam can easily be released from the freshly baked product, which remains crispy.
They can also be used to reheat the product in the oven.
